Corey is passionate about representing clients facing criminal accusations. He is passionate about helping clients from the earliest stages of prosecutions through post-conviction and appellate matters in both state and federal court.
Corey has honed his expertise through years of hands-on experience. His career has been solely focused on criminal defense. Prior to joining Hochglaube & DeBorde, he worked at both the Harris County Public Defender’s Office and the Davidson County Public Defender’s Office in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Those experiences taught Corey how to be both a zealous advocate and a compassionate adviser to his clients.
Corey’s talents as an advocate have been recognized on a national scale, as he achieved victory and individual awards in numerous national mock trial competitions while in law school. His advocacy skills led to his induction into the prestigious Order of the Barristers, a testament to his excellence in courtroom litigation.
Corey attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center, graduating cum laude. He is proud to stand by each of his clients and fight for their rights.
